Nearly forty years ago, Minnesota owner, Mr. James L. Schueller, began his journey in construction working with his father who was a farmer and excavator. After working for a few contractors, he took a chance and started his own contracting company in the early 70's.

Today, Mr. Schueller and his partner, Mr. Les Whitman, operate S.J. Louis Companies with the same grounding principles of hard work, integrity, and quality that they developed through these years.
