The goal of this project was to improve safety and traffic flow on the US 60 (Phoenix - Wickenburg) Highway by widening a section of the roadway and building other improvements. It involved adding a center lane, milling and replacing pavement, and tying into an existing interim bypass project.
- Added a 1.5 mile center lane.
- Installed curbs and gutters.
- Extended water and sewer mains on the west side of US 60.
- Other improvements to the ADOT maintenance facility and grounds on the east side of US 60.
